Qarion is a lightweight AI and data governance platform that helps organizations discover, manage, and govern their data assets with confidence.

What is Qarion?​

Qarion provides a centralized workspace for data teams to discover data products, ensure data quality, manage data contracts, track issues, govern access, and collaborate — with built-in AI assistance at every step. An AI Copilot helps users find data through natural-language questions and auto-generates documentation, while dedicated AI System governance lets organizations register, classify, and monitor their AI models alongside traditional data assets. By bringing these capabilities together, Qarion enables organizations to build trust in their data, govern their AI systems responsibly, and streamline compliance with regulations like the EU AI Act.

Platform Overview​

Spaces​

Qarion is organized around Spaces — isolated workspaces that contain your data products, quality checks, and governance processes. Each space can represent a team, department, or business domain.

Key Modules​

The platform consists of several integrated modules designed to cover the full data and AI governance lifecycle. The Dashboard offers a high-level overview of space activity and key metrics. The Data Catalog serves as a central hub for data products — including AI Systems with risk classification — providing rich metadata and documentation. Source Systems manage connections to external platforms like Snowflake and BigQuery. Data Lineage visualizes the flow of data and AI pipeline dependencies, helping you understand upstream sources and downstream consumers.

For reliability, the Quality Engine automates checks, tracks execution history, and provides continuous drift monitoring for AI models. The Alerts Center offers centralized monitoring for failures and drift events. Contracts allow you to define and enforce SLAs between producers and consumers. When issues arise, the Issue Tracker helps manage resolution workflows, and Meetings facilitate governance coordination with agendas and action items. Master Data Management provides version-controlled reference datasets with schema editing, import/export, and governed publishing. The AI Copilot provides intelligent assistance through natural-language search and automated description generation.
