Notifications Overview
Qarion provides a unified notification system that keeps you informed about important events across the platform — from quality check failures to access request approvals, @mentions, and governance updates.
Notification Center
Bell Icon
The notification center is accessible via the bell icon in the top navigation bar. A badge shows the count of unread notifications.
Clicking the bell opens a dropdown with your most recent notifications, each showing:
- Title — Brief description of the event
- Timestamp — When the event occurred
- Mark Read — Clear the unread indicator
View All Page
Click View All to open the full notifications page with advanced filtering:
- All — Every notification
- Mentions — @mentions from comments and issues
- System — Platform events (sync complete, access granted)
- Alerts — Quality check failures and anomaly detections
Notification Types
Qarion generates notifications for a wide range of platform events:

Notification Cleanup
Read notifications older than the configured retention period are automatically cleaned up by a background cron job to keep your inbox manageable.
