Language, Region & Time Zone

Qarion supports multiple interface languages and account-level time zone preferences. The platform automatically detects your browser language and local time zone, or you can set preferences manually from Settings.

Changing Your Language

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner
  2. Select Settings
  3. Navigate to the Preferences tab
  4. Under Language, select your preferred language
  5. The interface updates immediately — no page reload required

Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage and persists across sessions.

Setting Your Time Zone

Your time zone controls how meetings, calendar views, reminders, and date-time fields are displayed across Qarion.

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner
  2. Select Settings
  3. Navigate to the Appearance or Preferences tab
  4. Under Time Zone, choose an IANA time zone such as Europe/Amsterdam or America/New_York
  5. Save your changes

If no time zone is set, Qarion uses your browser time zone. Invalid or unknown time zone names are rejected so scheduled events stay consistent across web, email, and calendar invitations.

Automatic Detection

If you haven't set a language manually, Qarion uses your browser's language setting. For example:

  • A browser set to fr-FR will automatically display the French interface
  • A browser set to de-DE will display German
  • Unsupported languages fall back to English

Locale-Aware Formatting

Numbers, dates, and other locale-sensitive values adapt to the selected language:

Tips

  • Team alignment: For mixed-language teams, shared screenshots and documentation may look different across locales — be aware when collaborating
  • Meeting alignment: Set your time zone before scheduling recurring governance meetings so invite times and calendar views match your local working hours
  • Resetting: To return to automatic detection, clear the i18nextLng key from your browser's local storage
