Activity Feed
The Activity Feed provides a real-time stream of changes and events for each data product, helping you understand what happened, when, and by whom.
Viewing the Activity Feed
Open any data product in the catalog and navigate to the Activity tab. The feed displays events in reverse chronological order, with the most recent activity at the top.
Event Types
The activity feed tracks the following events:
| Event | Description |
|---|---|
| Product Updated | Metadata changes (description, tags, owner, etc.) |
| Schema Changed | Fields added, removed, or modified via sync |
| Quality Check Run | Quality check execution with pass/fail status |
| Comment Added | New comment posted on the product |
| Access Granted | User granted access to the product |
| Access Revoked | User access removed or expired |
| Profiling Run | Data profiling executed (quick or full) |
| Contract Updated | SLA contract terms modified |
| Governance Changed | Owner, steward, or classification updated |
Following Products
Click Follow on any product to receive notifications for its activity. Followed products appear in your personal activity feed on the dashboard, giving you a consolidated view of changes across the products you care about.
Managing Followed Products
To unfollow a product, click the Following button on the product detail page. You can also manage all followed products from Settings → Preferences.
Filtering
Use the filter options above the feed to narrow events by:
- Event type — Show only specific event categories
- Date range — Focus on a particular time period
- User — See changes made by a specific team member
