Product Adoption
Product Adoption turns usage events and governance signals into a steward-facing ranked list of products. Use it when you need to know which assets are proving value, which ones are underused, and which high-dependency products need attention.
Open Product Adoption
From a space, open Usage Analytics in the sidebar. The page is available when the analytics.usage feature is enabled.
The page starts with summary KPIs:
- Total Products - active products included in the selected scope
- Depended On - products with a non-zero dependency score
- Recurring Incidents - products with multiple recent incidents
- Ignored or Stale - products with ignored usage signals or stale active grants
Read the Ranking
Each product row includes:
- Product name, product type, and environment
- Dependency score
- Search, view, query, request, subscription, and incident counts
- Whether the product has ignored or stale signals
- Last activity timestamp
Select a row to open the detail drawer. The drawer shows owner or steward context, individual signal counts, recent incidents, suggested actions, and a shortcut to the product Usage tab.
Filter and Sort
Use the controls above the table to narrow the ranking:
- Window - 7, 30, 90, 180, or 365 days
- Sort - dependency score, queries, views, incidents, or most recent activity
- Product Type - limit results to a catalog product type
- Owner - show products owned or stewarded by a specific space member
- Domain - focus on a data domain
- Criticality - filter by critical, high, medium, or low criticality
Filters are reflected in the URL so the current view can be shared with another user who has access to the same space.
Suggested Actions
Qarion adds suggested actions to help stewards move from reporting to triage:
- Recurring incidents suggest prioritizing remediation and mitigation notes.
- High views with no requests or subscriptions suggest clarifying access paths or ownership.
- More searches than views suggest improving names, descriptions, or search relevance.
- High query volume with no subscriptions suggests nudging frequent users to subscribe.
- Ignored or stale signals suggest reviewing grants or dismissed usage patterns.
Dashboard Widget
The dashboard includes a Usage Adoption widget with the same scoring model. It is designed for quick weekly review: choose a short window, sort by the signal you care about, open the detail drawer for context, then jump to the full Usage Analytics page when you need filters or pagination.
